Questions & Answers

Q: People say it makes you look younger, but that no one can tell...I am confused.

A: It is a very personal thing- you'll find people saying you look really well, or asking if you've been on holiday but its very subtle. Also, we all look at the small things about ourselves that annoy us but friends, family and colleagues see the whole picture - they will think you look fantastic, they just won't be able to tell why!

Q:Can I really nip in and out and go back to work with no visual effects?

A: It has been called the lunch break facelift! It is quick and in most cases almost totally pain free. And yes, you can get on with life while it quietly does its magic.

Q:Why are you better than the person I see who comes to Kerikeri every six weeks?

A: We treat wrinkles in Northland every week and have done so for 12 years. Also, we are the only people who offer Dysport® who actually live and practice here and always have some in stock for a top up or for a special occasion so that you can get treated around your lifestyle.

Q: I feel comfortable with my Beauty Salon and I like having my treatment there.

A: We are happy to treat you at your chosen Salon as long as they are happy we visit you there.  We will even pay them a commission as a thank you for using their rooms.

Q: I just can't get my head around the fact I'll be getting Dysport®/Botox! I hate that frozen look you see on American TV, it just wouldn't be me.

AWe aim for a very soft, natural softening of your wrinkles. However, each individual client's perspective is different and we'll assess your preference at your first consultation. It does take time to accept that this is an important part of how you feel about yourself and that it may actually make you feel better and often more confident. You are not alone in these thoughts!

Q:Can I have it as a "one off" procedure?

A: Of course you can! If you have a Wedding, a special occasion, haven't seen a friend or relative for years then it is perfect. You would ideally need to allow two weeks prior to the event to ensure the full benefits of the treatment.
